Invisible Removable Braces

Invisible removable braces are clear, removable aligners. They work in the same way as traditional braces but have a number of benefits and advantages. We have access to a range of aligners such as Invisalign. Unlike many general practitioners who may offer this technique, we have the experience to know when this technique will be most appropriate, and how to get the best results.

Firstly, moulds will be taken of your teeth. These moulds will then be used to create a series of plastic aligners which are a perfect fit. You’ll wear these aligners for two weeks at a time, which will result in small movements of your teeth until they’re in the desired position.

Suitability of invisible removable braces

If you have minor alignment problems or are self-conscious and don’t like the thought of traditional braces, invisible removable braces may be a great alternative. You’ll need to visit Better Smiles regularly to ensure smooth progress.

Treatment benefits of invisible removable braces

With ‘Invisible’ braces, no one will realise you are having orthodontic treatment. The only people who will know are the people you tell.

Like all of our braces, ‘invisible’ braces will straighten teeth, making them easier to clean. This may also help reduce any risk of gum disease. As they are removable, ‘invisible’ braces can be removed for cleaning, flossing and for any sport if necessary.

Invisible braces treatment experience

This style of brace is similar to a retainer. There are no wires or brackets that might irritate your gums or tongue. You may, however, experience some slight discomfort when you start wearing your new set of ‘invisible’ braces. Any discomfort you experience will not last for long.

Achieving the best results

Like any removable brace, these aligners need to be worn almost full time if the anticipated results are to be achieved.

Any advice given to you by your orthodontist should be followed carefully to achieve the best results.

Looking after your invisible brace

When eating and drinking, you should always remove your brace to avoid damage or breakages. To keep them clean, brush your teeth and the aligners after every meal.

If you lose or break your brace, contact Better Smiles as soon as possible for a replacement.
