The Crescent Specialist Dental Centre has assembled an outstanding team of dental specialists from all over the world. Our team has gone through years of extensive training to enable them to specialise in their fields. They are an outstanding team of specialists who have had scientific papers and dentistry articles published throughout the world. All the team are committed to providing an exceptional level of care to all our patients. Dr Fabio F. Butera BDS (Hon), Specialist in Orthodontics (Hon) Dr Butera specialised in orthodontics from the university of Siena Italy and has also achieved the 2nd level university Master’s degree in Orthodontics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He deals with interceptive Orthodontic, Dento-Facial Orthopaedics, Functional and Fixed Orthodontics and Invisible Orthodontics. He also has an interest in T.M.J Pathology. Dr Butera joined the crescent specialist dental centre in November 2008 and is already very much appreciated by our patients. Outside of work Fabio enjoys photography and travel.

Dr Yassar Nafa BDS, Orthodontist (Uni of Paris) His patients and colleagues call him 'Yaz'. He enjoys working with children and adults on an NHS and Private basis using metallic, ceramic and invisible braces. Yaz holds three postgraduate Orthodontic degrees from the University of Paris, France (Orthodontics, Dento-facial Orthopardics and Paediatric Orthodontics). Yaz is a fellow of the World Federation of Orthontics as well as a member of the British, Jordanian and Arab Orthodontic Societies. Yaz has been with The Crescent Specialist Dental Centre since April 2008 and has become a well established member of the team and popular with his patients. In his free time ,Yaz enjoys hiking near Plymouth and enjoying the coastline, football, music and travel.

Prof. Rolf Lindman DDS PhD Specialist in Orthodontics Specialist and associate Professor at several universities around the world, Rolf Lindman comes to us with a wealth of experience in Orthodontics. Rolf has achieved several degrees in dentistry and medicine and has had several scientific papers published. Program director NA-PGI (Nicolas and Arab postgraduate institute) Dubai health care city. Dubai united Arab Emirates. Rolf has become an extremely popular member of the team. Rolf also has a special interest in facial aesthetics which is also available here at The Crescent. With Rolf's knowledge and expertise we are confident there is no-one better qualified to care for you and your smile.

Dr Peter Davis BDS MFDS MRD MCLinDent Specialist in Endodontics Dr Davis qualified in 1997 from Guys Hospital Dental School. He obtained his master of the restorative dentistry in endodontology (MRD) from the royal college of surgeons in Edinburgh and was awarded a distinction in his master of clinical dentistry in Endodontology from the University of London. Dr Davis has been with us since 2006 and has become very popular with patients and referring clinicians.

Dr Jeremy Peak BDS FDS MOrth Msc Specialist in Orthodontics Jeremy graduated in 1989 from the University of Bristol and has had an outstanding and varied career ranging from a Dental Officer with the Royal Air Force to owner and principal of the Crescent Specialist Dental Centre from start up in 1999 until he sold it to Integrated Dental Holdings in 2008, by which time it had become one of Britain’s highest profile, and most successful dental practices. Jeremy’s client list includes several celebrities and he has been featured on several occasions in the national press. Jeremy has a special interest in adult orthodontics and remains firmly committed to providing an exceptional level of orthodontic care at The Crescent.

Dr Simon Walker Dr Walker is the owner of a successful general dental practice in Plymouth he has many years experience in Orthodontics. He has joined us on a part time basis to support the specialist practitioners.

Dr William Beare BDS FDS MSc DRD MRD Dr Beare qualified BDS in 1974. He became a fellow of the royal college for surgeons in 1987. In 1992 he obtained a masters degree in Periodontology. Dr Beare holds three postgraduate diplomas in restorative dentistry and provides a full range of advanced restorative dentistry including Dental Implants at The Crescent Specialist Dental Centre. Dr Beare has been an established member of the team since 2000 and was until recently the senior consultant in restorative dentistry for the Defence Dental Agency.
